Chimera Engineering 17'' JC MESH 3PC Modular Wheel - COMPLETE SET - 17x4 + 17x3 - Super 73 RX, R, S2

The Chimera Engineering Wheel center faces are engineered to be super light weight, which will help reduce sprung weight and rolling resistance so that these wheels won't have much impact on the range or speed.  The included Chimera Super73 hubs are also light weight as well! 

With these wheels, you could run common sizes for the motorcycle tires, such as 110/70-17, 120/70-17, etc. These wheels does not require tubes for motorcycle tires.

To install the Chimera rear hub, you would need to cut the spokes off of the original spoke/wire wheel to remove the hub motor. The Chimera hub will slide into position at 3 different location and it would bolt onto the hub motor. The design of the rear hub would help absorb the heat from the motor and the air flow will move through the hub to help with cooling. The Chimera Engineering Patent Pending rear hub's engineering and design is a game changer that allow the use of the original motor with aftermarket wheels. 

The rim face is a raw aluminum machined finish, and the barrels are polished. If you would like to anodize or powder coat the parts, then we have limited outsourcing of these services with 3rd party companies that we work with. NOTES

1. The lightweight rim faces used on these wheels are only designed for e-bikes. These cannot be used for motorcycles or other vehicles.
2. Due to the various configurations and options, all rims are made to order with a 2-week lead time. Custom finishes would require additional lead time. 
3. Photos of the rims are for reference only, different size barrels would have different look/appearance. 
4. You would need to reuse the original hub motor. Hub Motor is not included.
5. Rear wheel service is available for $100, which includes cutting all the spokes and installing the Chimera hub and wheel onto the motor. You could do it yourself as well! Instructions coming soon!
