The factory foot peg position on the Segway Xaber 300 is relatively narrow compared to the width of the bike’s body. One common complaint among riders is that the pegs sit too far inward, making it feel like you’re constantly searching for the right foot placement when wearing riding boots.
Another drawback is the factory pegs’ straight-up folding orientation. Unlike pegs that fold backward at an angle, the stock design can create an unwanted point of contact if the pegs strike an obstacle while riding or leaning into a turn, potentially upsetting the bike and throwing the rider off balance. Having the pegs fold backward at an angle will allow the peg to bump out of the way when it makes contact, giving the rider the chance for correction.
These foot peg adapters address both issues by improving peg positioning and allowing the use of Surron foot pegs, opening up a much wider range of aftermarket peg options to fit you ride style and preference! These peg adapters also has 3 different height positions that could easily be adjusted with the factory peg pins. These could also be installed and removed within a few minutes.
These peg adapters are ideal for trail riding and exploration. Not ideal for competition racing as adding length to the pegs will give up some lean angle during tight corners or sloped corner bank.
