Chimera Engineering Black Handlebar Riser for 2017+ Honda Rebel 300/500.
Chimera Engineering Risers requires 1/2" I.D. bushings since the riser bolts are 1/2", you may find them here: Chimera Solid Aluminum Riser Bushings PN: CH-1200
Available in 4, 6 or 8-inch rise!
The included riser base is 2", for the overall length, please add 2" to the riser.
EXAMPLE: 6" Rise + 2" Riser Base = 8" overall length.
Factory top clamp will be reused allowing to maintain the factory speedo.
By raising the handlebar you will need to extend the throttle and clutch cables. Depending on the height of the handlebar installed, extending the electrical connections to your controls may be necessary.
These risers are not compatible with the Rebel 1100. The Rebel 1100 mounts the risers directly to the top steering plate without using bushings. The factory riser holes on the top bridge plate are 10mm, so for those daring to customize or modify, the holes would need to be drilled out to 1/2" for these to fit. If you’re comfortable making that modification, you could technically run these risers on the Rebel 1100. The headlight stay bracket holes would also need to be drilled out to 1/2" as well.
