Chimera Engineering Honda GROM 12" Small Wheel Conversion Kit for Honda CB300R (2018+)

Install Honda GROM 125 12" Wheel Set to a Honda CB300R  (2018+).  Converts your CB300R run small wheels, which essentially gives it that minimoto feel! This kit is complete and includes all Spacers and front caliper bracket to retain the stock Nissin Caliper.

Please note: Due to the clearance of the stock rear caliper, using the rear wheel from a pre 2022 will not be centered compared to a 2022+ rear Grom Wheel.  

Please specify what year GROM wheelset you will be using. The product photos are for reference only, different year kits selection will have different parts included. 

FITMENT:

• Honda CB300R  (2018- present)

REQUIRED ITEMS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE KIT:

• Grom Wheels, Sprocket Carrier, Cush Drive Rubber
• Grom Front Forks 2014-2020 NON-ABS
• 2x Grom Front Rotors (220mm)
• Grom rear sprocket to match the chain pitch and size (IE: 420, 428, 520)

INFORMATION NOTES, PLEASE READ!

• The 2014-2020 and the 2022+ Sprocket Hub Carrier has different size mounting bolts for the sprocket. OG/SF Grom uses 8mm studs, RR/SP uses 10mm studs. If you have the RR/SP, you would need to drill the sprocket holes to 10mm. 
• You would need to remove the existing OEM studs from the sprocket hub carrier to switch over to the included sprocket bolts. 
• You will need to replace the rear rotor to a Front 220mm Rotor from a Grom.
• ABS will NOT be retained. NON-ABS Rear Caliper Bracket would need to be shaved down for clearance.

• Since the front brake caliper bracket is located on the outside of the forks, You will need to tap the fork legs to M10 x 1.5. We have the tap available here: TOOL-1007. Caliper mounting hardware is included.
