In simple explanation: you can setup one mode for racing, one mode for pops and bangs, and one for normal riding and switch modes up and down from your handlebars. The switch is small and lightweight so it is easily attached with double sided mounting foam tape or mount with a gauge mount, such as the OPMID-1006, KOSO-1026, KOSO-1025, KTC-1038, CH-1278.
