CHIMERA ENGINEERING FATTY REAR WHEEL KIT - HONDA MOTOCOMPACTO

Transform the Honda Motocomapcto with this complete kit that includes everything you need to mount and run a fatty rear wheel! Not only does it give your Motocompacto a new custom look that’s sure to turn heads, but it also delivers real improvements! The wider tire improves ride comfort by absorbing more of the road’s impact—making it a huge upgrade from the stiff and hard molded stock tire. Plus, this kit replaces the stock drum brake with a disc brake setup, giving you noticeably better braking performance. Chimera applied the same theories and engineering aspect to this kit as if they were designing a kit for a scooter or mini-moto, it's built and tested to make sure that the Motocompacto will handle this kit. After a year of testing this kit on the Moto-Distracto project, it's now available! The whole rear assembly is bolt-on! The only modification that you would need to do is to cut the side panels.

NOTES:

• Due to the wider wheel and swing arm, the Motocompacto rear wheel sliding functions will no longer be used. It will stay stationary in the inward position. The Chimera swing arm will position the fatty rear wheel near/close to the location as OEM, giving it nearly the same wheel base. 
• The Fatty kit will increase the width of the Motocompacto around that area. 

• Everything in this kit is fully reversible- except for the side panel cut. If you ever decide to return your Motocompacto to its original wheel setup, you can absolutely do so, as long as you’ve kept the original parts. You'll just need to grab a new set of side panels from Honda, which are inexpensive and easy to replace. So, you can mod now and restore later without stress!

INSTALLATION NOTE:

• Cutting/Trimming the side panels is required to clear the wider swing arm. (Cut out template is available)
• The sensor for the rear wheel slide out would need to be by-passed as the slide out function is no longer used. It's just a matter of taping the sensor and the magnet together so that the system thinks that the rear wheel is slid out. 
• Re-routing the brake cable is required so that it would reach the brake caliper.
• The lock pin (release pin under the taillight) must be engage at ALL TIMES when the fatty kit is installed.

• Do NOT use this kit with the wheel fully extended. It’s not built to operate in the fully slid-out position. The kit is specifically designed to function only in the slid-in, stationary position- so keep it tucked in and secure for proper performance and safety.

• Make sure to print the panel cut out template to 100% scale. It must be 1:1 ratio  and it could be double checked by lining up the print to the side panels.
