Chimera Engineering Race Bolt for the rear swingarm (320mm). The stock swing arm bolt requires you to slide the whole bolt out in order to change or service the rear-set (on one side). The Chimera Race Bolt has two nuts on each end, which allows you to service or remove EITHER side of your rear set without the need to remove the bolt. Designed specifically for racers, stunters, and those who want an easier way to service or change their rear set without having to fight and realign the swingarm. Has pre-drilled holes, ready for safety wires and/or hitch pins (hairpin clips).
This race bolt can also be used as a replacement rear axle (320mm). For those that need a longer axle, you can use the longer version (345mm). Great for those with stunt pegs or paddock stand spools.
Chimera Engineering Race Bolt for the rear swing arm allows you to quickly and easily change either side of the rear sets by simply removing the nuts. The stock swing arm bolt is only threaded on one side, which requires you to completely remove the bolt out to remove the rear set on one side. This will most likely drop and misaligned the swing arm to the frame. The Chimera Race Bolt will prevent all of that from happening. Perfect for those who track or stunt their Grom's!
2014-2020 Grom OEM axle length = 305mm (~12")
For those that want approximately 1" longer rear axle for the Grom, we offer the 345mm (13-5/8") version.
These are super long, so it would be good for those who are running thick Delrin sliders/pegs (1/2" thick on each slider = 1" thickness). If it comes out too long, you would need to add washers to spacers to fill the void, otherwise, the nuts would bottom out as the non-threaded length is 280mm.
NOTE: The use of anti-seize on the thread and nut is required on any stainless steel to stainless steel nut and thread application to reduce the chances of the nut seizing to the axle.
